Seems like we are getting close, no?

What for?

So the media was blaming Trump for the threats against Jewish community centres and for daring to suggest it was a false flag from the left. And then this happens:

Awkward indeed!

Aaaaand it's gone.

Bloomberg radio did a story about the seasonal shipping of bees from Louisiana to California to pollenate almonds.

... for a much larger middle that expressed palpable disdain for the two choices . ..

The disdain was for business as usual/feeling constantly preached to/having their values challenged in every arena.

Hence Trump.

I think that's true, and the Dems pouting through the state of the union address and refusing to back military men, who are doing the exact same sorts of missions they were doing for the last 8 years, probably didn't play well outside of the blue urban enclaves.

I have to agree that the media is the enemy of the people. All they do is push the control state and identity politics, and encourage infighting. It's corrosive culture.

I've never seen anyone take on EVERYONE like this. Judges, the media, Iran, Russia, China, Nordstrom, state senators, the Dept of Education, on and on.

Doesn't he need some allies? Sure he is the President, but it isn't wise to motherfuck absolutely everyone.

2019? I mean, we will be at war with China by then.

(nothing at all to do with totalitarian control over a nation's wealth)

They both hate the west.
Nakedly so. That a movement originally intended to advance women's interests would now embrace wholeheartedly Sharia which belittles women, and to do so simply out of some kind of existential daddy-angst is absolutely batshit crazy. They just want the world to burn.

The feminist embrace of Islam and sharia is really confounding. Don't these people know anything?

Defending waterboarding on Day Five doesn't strike me as the best place to go.

After defending states rights for years, I'm going to be in a real bind if a leftist secession of California comes about.

You're Fired on the barrel is pretty funny.

The Press secretary came across as really angry, basically yelling in the first conference. It didn't strike me as the tone of a guy who is on the winning team, and seemed wrong. If you want to be an ass, I think a demeanor of pleasant condescention would be more appropriate.

I did the new Poland scenario yesterday. It's supposed to be a unique challenge where three allied Polish states have to fend of hordes of outside invaders. Instead it simply underlined how hopeless the AI is at conquering the cities, and was pretty dull by the end of the 60 turns.

I'll keep trying this some once every quarter update or so, but mostly it is unrewarding to beat up on your special needs opponents, and the diplomatic interactions are empty. Perhaps that will change with further add-ons.

I think to make a fair contest at all, I'll have to make it a game about exploration and trade, and self impose a rule where I cannot declare wars.
