I saw four of those big Airbus flying in diamond formation in tv.
It was a nice thing to see.
They are the symbol of our Euroland.
We can do it, we'll learn from mistakes and honore our customer desires.
Now take a deep breath and wait some more time ( same as you do for the new BF engine) you'll be pleased with the final product.

Do buy our new Boeing 787, powered by Rolls Royce, coated by Alenia Aeronautica, and designed by us HeeHee!

Boeing postponed the plane's first test flight and deliveries for a fifth time because of a separate structural problem.

Before that delay, customers had expected the first of the new jets in the first quarter of 2010 - nearly two years behind schedule. The delays have cost Boeing credibility and billions of dollars in anticipated expenses and penalties.

You can bash Americans all you want, but the newest delay in the 787 program was caused by...wait for it...an Italian supplier. Que divertido, no?

What does "chapucero" mean. I understood all of the last paragraph except for that.

Isn't it a semi-mythical, blood-sucking were-beast?

Not mythical at all. I used to have a cousin who raised them to sell to pet stores. Then one day the whole pack turned on him. It was horrible...

Lol, no guys you're talking about this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc3WB9B8oMA

I'm talking about that:
Diccionario Espasa concise inglés-español © 2000 Espasa Calpe:
chapuza sustantivo feminino
1 (trabajo mal hecho) shoddy piece of work
2 (trabajo ocasional) odd job

About me bashing USA for the sake of it, negative.
I am always being accused of it, sure, but I did love your country quite a lot,.
I am still buying tecnology from you, MacBook and iPhone are recent purchases, my autocaravan is a italian Fiat basis and italian inner design; nice, but next time i'll get a German one  angel

That about Boening outsourcing a procedure wich has been done only in lab.
Well, it was a wrong idea, do some of that graphite layed material by yourself, if you can, it solves the embarrassing problem of patching aircraft.

So, all that to say I don't care  that much about Usa, except when I watch your executive power doing something wrong wich eventually put my kin in some treat, like increase the hate against white, wealthy people amongst the mayority of the inhabitants of this sorry planet, wich I don't need to say are poor and not that whiter as my children are.

The post wich I translated before was taken from a heated post, generalized bashing Airbus 380 wiring problems.
Well, you do read all the non polite things were said about, and change the names, then the day you see in tv four of them Boening 787's flying and doing some formation drill, you would like to comment, If I'll post then something negative, that would be bashing. But I know better cheesy

You are skilled, and trustworthy, direct, don't let the worst part of you take the upperhand.
Show us the Usa we wan't to see. let the engineers decide and don't compromise quality. Take criticism not always as an attack, more like a friendly help.

(I return to my British module of SF, lots of fun)

I'm rather unconcerned with your attitudes toward the US. I hate on the US enough, and I live here. My point lay more in the direction of the Boeing/Airbus competition, because the whole thing is getting ridiculous. There's not a whole lot of competition in the large aircraft market. There are other companies that make small planes, but if you want something big you go to Boeing or Airbus, unless you trust Russian construction (does Antropov make passenger planes?). Each company has a semi-monopoly, and yet they rely heavily on their respective governments for support and contracts. Boeing has European and Asian suppliers, and Airbus has North American and Asian suppliers, not necessarily because those suppliers are better than more local businesses, but because Boeing can't sell planes to Lufthansa unless some Fritz put a transducer in the aileron, and the same goes for Airbus in the US. They constantly point out the other's screwups, but then they go and screw up worse themselves.
