More progressive scholars believe
that a bunch of culturally backwards colonists could not peacefully agree on who had the longest beards, and subsequently went on a highly unprofessional but effective killing spree, calling it a "war". I mean, look at the pictures. Unbelievable! They're basically cavemen!
