Created by Zarquon, Bughunter is a browser-based multiplayer game. It was inspired by the short-lived dosomefinkite obsession with Urbandead and designed to make up for many of that game's shortcomings. The players create either a squad of marines, a group of civilians or a group of aliens. Each individual marine, civilian or alien (known as gloops or bugs within the game) has specific skills and equipment.

Features
Lots of new and frustrating stuff! See Bughunter: New Features
New players: see the Bughunter Tutorial!
And see the Tactics page.
Found a Bug in the program? See the Bugs Hunter page.
And finally, there is a Map Legend
You probably want to play BH in a Gecko-based browser (Mozilla, Firefox, Sea Monkey), because some graphics are not displayed properly in Internet Explorer
Some notable features:
- Gloops can eat civilian and marine corpses to grow
- Three sizes of bug--micro, normal and momma!
- Various environmental effects, such as radiation
- Opportunity fire
- Space marines screaming as they're clawed to death
- Self-sharpening chainsaws
- Science!
- Hard Vacuum
- Hard liquor
- A choice between gritty Marines and eugenically perfect Orbital Assault Troopers
Bughunter was inspired by an old SPI/TSR boardgame, incidentally called Bug Hunter (a SNIPER module), and Urban Dead, another online game.
